Blurttt

Last updated October 2, 2026

Blurttt is built to know as little about you as possible. The free version never touches your bank. Pro connects to it read-only, only if you choose to.

What we keep

  • Your email, to sign you in and send the Sunday recap.
  • What you blurttt: the amount, the words you typed, the category, and when.
  • Your weekly budget and time zone, so the week resets on your Monday.
  • Whether you're on Pro. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • Pro only — bank transactions. If you connect a bank, we receive your transactions (amount, merchant description, date) and basic account info (bank name, last 4 digits) through Stripe Financial Connections. Read-only: we can never move money. We never see your bank login.
  • Pro only — your phone number, if you turn on texts.

Who helps run it

Supabase stores the data. Stripe handles payment and bank connections. Vercel hosts the site. Twilio sends texts. Our email provider sends sign-in links and recaps. Anthropic's AI helps tidy up messy merchant names (it sees the merchant description, not who you are). They process data only to provide those services.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your spending with anyone. The demo on the homepage stores its example data only in your browser.

Deleting your data

Disconnect your bank any time and we stop receiving transactions. Email hello@blurttt.io from your account's address and we'll delete your account and everything in it.
